Seed grown plant 6-12” tall. NY Ecotype.

This near native shrub (closest wild populations in VT) is fairly common in landscaping, but mostly you see cultivars selected for weird leaf colors. These are North-east ecotype, wild type plants, which would be a better choice from a habitat view. Grows easily on well drained soil in full sun to part shade. May need protection from deer to get established, depending on pressure.
