Flax-leaved Stiff-aster (Ionactis linariifolia) Seeds
A packet contains 1/2 tsp of seeds.
This native wildflower thrives in weak rocky or sandy soil. The narrow, almost needle like leaves provide interesting garden texture in the spring and summer. In fall the plant is covered in light purple flowers, similar to others in the Aster family. This species tops out around 12” tall, so can get lost among taller plants in a typical meadow planting, more suited to garden borders, rock gardens or sand plain plantings. Sow in spring, barely cover seed with sand. Does best in full sun.
