Horseradish (Armoracia rusticana) Plant
1 small but established plant.
A well known perennial member of the Brassica family, most commonly used in spicy sauces (and “wasabi”, outside of Japan), but also popular in herbal preparations like Fire Cider. Spreads by rhizome, so be careful where you plant them, doesn't pair well with delicate or fussy plants. These plants are descended from feral plants I collected locally, the parent plants where growing (untended) in a field next to the remains of what looks like a barn foundation, remnants of a farmstead long gone from the landscape.
