This bienniel Angelica from Korea features stunning purple buds/flowers. They are very attractive to pollinators. The young leaves are edible and the whole plant has a history of use in Korean herbalism. Grows easily in medium to damp soils in full sun to part shade. Tends to self-sow moderately, dead head if you don’t want more. Sow barely covered outdoors in fall/winter or stratify 60+ days. Germination can be slow and erratic, temperature fluctuations may help.
