This adorable and rare cactus grows in a small section of NM and is federally listed as threatened, the specimens listed are nursery propagated at edgewood nursery. While pretty hardy (for a cactus) these can’t take a Maine winter, they are probably hardy to around zone 7 and require excellent drainage and a sunny position.
