Meadow Arnica (Arnica chamisons) Plant or Seed Packet
A packet contains ~50 seeds.
Meadow Arnica (Arnica chamissonis) is a medicinal herb, used topically for aches and pains. They are also quite beautiful and make a great perennial bedding plant in the flower garden.
Seeds should be sown in fall or winter or artificially cold stratified for 30+ days before sowing. Seeds should be surface sown, as they are quite small. Seedlings are slow to establish and tender at first, so starting indoors is recommended.
Arnica thrives in full sun and acid soil conditions. While slow to establish, they are easy to maintain and spread at a moderate rate by rhizome after the first season. Easier to propagate by divisions then seed.
