Nanking cherry is a hardy shrub growing to 6-8’ tall and wide (although you can keep them smaller with pruning). The fruit is bright red and tastes very much like a pie cherry. Resistant to many pests and diseases (although not immune to brown rot). The flowers and foliage are quite ornamental. Needs cross pollination, plant 2 or more.
