This unusual species of Asparagus forms a twining, ornamental vine that will cover a section of fence or trellis in a interesting ferny textured foliage. The shoots are edible, although smaller than the more familiar garden asparagus. Long lived perennial hardy to zone 3. Well drained soil in sun to part shade.

In spring, soak berries in room temp water for 12+ hrs, remove pulp and sow 1/4” deep. Starting indoor will give you jump on the season, but is not required.
