Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) Plant
1 clump of rhizomes and shoots.
A common medicinal herb of roadsides and waste areas. Often used as a medicinal tea or tincture, but in times gone by Yarrow was also a common bittering agent in beers. Yarrow also shines as a ornamental, pollinator food and ground cover. Extremely easy to grow, this plant spreads by rhizome, so don't pair with delicate plants that can't keep up. This population was here when I moved here, so probably local ecotype.
