This large upright shrub or small tree is highly ornamental, featuring masses of white flowers with centers that change from yellow to red, when flowers fade they turn into spherical fruits containing several small nuts, which are easy to crack and taste much like macadamia nuts. The interesting compound leaves turn bright yellow in the fall. Probably zone 4 Hardy, definitely zone 5 hardy.
