Macoun's Rabbit-Tobacco (Pseudognaphalium macounii) Seed Packet
Packet contains a small pinch of fluffy and seeds, a couple hundred seeds. These are local ecotype seeds grown at Edgewood Nursery.
Native annual or biennial wildflower with pretty white foliage and interesting flowers. Has self-sown in a widely scattered pattern since I first planted this species a few years ago, the volunteers seem to favor the weakest/most disturbed soils. Should do well in dry to mesic soils in sun or part shade. Surface sow in fall/winter or cold stratify 60+ days, for more info on stratification click here. I’d probably start in a pot due to very small seed size, but direct sowing could work too.
